With a total of 12 career titles, Nishikori has been a pro since 2007. He reached a career-high World number 4 spot back in 2015, although now he is down in the mid-300s. He reached the semi-final round of the US Open in both 2016 and 2018 and was the losing finalist of the same tournament in 2014, losing out to Marin Čilić.
