The PGA Tour is moving to Los Angeles.

In just a matter of weeks, the third major tournament will take to Los Angeles Country Club for the 2023 U.S. Open, bringing together golf royalty. This will mark the 123rd edition of the tournament and the first time this prestigious tournament is set to be held in LA.

There are two 18-hole courses at the country club: the North and the South Course. The tournament will be played on the par 70 North Course, which is 7,200 yards long, and it will be the 53rd different venue to hold the USGA’s signature men’s championship.

Matt Fitzpatrick, who won his first major title at the 2022 edition closely ahead of Scottie Scheffler, is the reigning champion.

Who will be at US Open?

Defending champion Jon Rahm, PGA champion Brooks Koepka and world No. 3 Rory McIlroy are in the field, along with ten former U.S. Open champions.

Additionally, twelve LIV golfers have qualified for the championship so far.

Woods, on the other hand, withdrew from the tournament following a slow recovery from a recent surgery.

Who are the U.S. Open favorites?

The past two winners of the Masters, Jon Rahm and Scottie Scheffler, are the betting co-favorites to win the 2023 U.S. Open. Scheffler came up short of winning another major tournament at the PGA Championship, and Rahm is sitting behind Scheffler at 9-1 in the 2023 U.S. Open odds.
