You may recall that Netflix released the first season of its now widely popular golf series on Valentine’s Day last year. In keeping with that tradition the streaming platform made a similar move on the day of love this year, with the announcement that Season two will be released on March 6th. Let’s take a look at what we know so far.

The trailer for ‘Full Swing’ season 2

Below you can see the newly released trailer for Netflix’s ‘Full Swing’ season 2. Be sure to keep scrolling to see a breakdown of what we can expect from the upcoming show.

What are the takeaways from the ‘Full Swing’ season 2 trailer?

If we get into the details of what we see in the trailer, we can assume a few things. Firstly, we will once again be taken on a journey of eight episodes. We can also see that Rory McIlroy will be returning and so too will the break-out star of Season 1, Joel Dahmen. Next, it would appear that two episodes of the series will focus specifically on the Ryder Cup, namely “All Roads Lead to Rome” Part 1 and 2. Yet, perhaps the tastiest takeaway is that yes, there will be a representative of LIV Golf and it seems as though that will be Dustin Johnson, the apparent focus of Episode 2.

With that said, it would be fair to say that the show as a whole will center primarily on players from the PGA Tour. Of course, there are others who will have episodes built around them as well, and from the looks of things, they appear to be Justin Thomas who is returning, Matt Fitzpatrick who is doing the same, and Tom Kim who will be making his first appearance in the show. Ultimately, golf fans have about 3 weeks to go before the show drops on Netflix, and in that time there will surely be more updates about what to expect. So, be sure to stay tuned as we await ‘Full Swing’ season 2.
