Many of the best PGA Tour players continue the action this weekend at the 2023 Wells Fargo Championship, while others won’t play on Saturday and Sunday after some high numbers were carded on Friday.

Jordan Spieth was one of those who put up big numbers on Friday with a 77, 6-over par. Jason Day, Shane Lowry and Collin Morikawa were some other big names who missed the cut.

After 36 holes some other crowd favorites got through to the weekend, but just barely. Rory McIlroy, Shaith Theegala and Cameron Young made the cut at 1-under par. Tyrell Hatton is tied at the top at 8-under par with Nate Lashley and Wyndham Clark with Xander Schauffele, Justin Thomas, Adam Scott and three others right behind.
