Final stretch of FedEx Cup playoffs
The tournament will be played from Castle Rock Pines Golf Club just south of Denver, and as always when we get this far into the PGA season, the field is stacked with stars. Scottie Scheffler is chasing the Cup, coming into the weekend top in points with 6,533 which is almost 1,500 more than Xander Schauffle in second place.
Matsuyama is in third place on the FedEx points list after his win over the weekend, and last year’s BMW Championship winner Victor Hovland will featured this weekend after moving up 41 spots after finishing just last weekend in a tie for second, just two shots back of Matsuyama.
The total purse for this weekend’s no-cut tournament from Colorado is $20 million with the winner taking home $4 million. After the final round from Castle Rock Pines on Sunday, the top 30 FedEx Cup point leaders will be moving on to East Lake for The Tour Championship the following weekend.
Here are the top 50 golfers on the FedEx points list that will be looking to win the penultimate tournament of the season.
