Wimbledon 2024 draw: full schedule, times, players, how to watch
The 2024 edition of the most celebrated grass tournament in the world gets underway in south west London on 1 July and runs through to the 14th.
The third Grand Slam of the season is almost here with the 2024 edition of Wimbledon getting underway on Monday 1 July. Markéta Vondroušová is the reigning women’s champion with Carlos Alcaraz winning the 2023 men’s competition and the Spaniard is among the favourites to retain his title.
Alcaraz has been drawn against Estonia’s Mark Lajal, ranked 262nd and could potentially face Jannik Sinner in the semi-finals and Novak Djokovic in what would be a repeat of last year’s final.
Top seed Jannik Sinner meets Germany’s Yannick Hanfmann while Djokovic was drawn against Czech contender Vit Kopriva.
In the women’s singles, top seed Iga Swiatek will face Sofia Kenin while defending champion Markéta Vondrousová was drawn against Spain’s Jéssica Bouzas Maneiro and Ons Jabeur will meet Japan’s Moyuka Uchijima.
Taylor Townsend meanwhile is set to face Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova while Emina Bektas has a tough contest ahead, meeting Aryna Sabalenka. We also have an all-American contest as Caroline Dolehide takes on compatriot Coco Gauff.
