2024 NYC Marathon: how and where to watch on TV and online

This year’s event is all set for Sunday, November 3, and there are a variety of viewing options for audiences across the United States.

Local marathon broadcast in New York

In the New York tri-state area, WABC-TV (Channel 7) will air live coverage from 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. ET. Pre-race segments begin at 7:00 a.m., with extended coverage continuing until 1:00 p.m.

Viewers can also stream the event live on the ABC 7 New York App and ABC7NY.com during these hours.

National US broadcast

For viewers outside New York, ESPN2 will broadcast the marathon live from 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. ET. The ESPN App will provide live streaming for those with access through participating TV providers.

Additionally, ESPN3 will offer pre-race coverage from 7:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. and post-race coverage from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. A dedicated finish line feed will be available on ESPN3 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Spanish-language coverage

Spanish-speaking audiences can watch a live broadcast on ESPN3 from 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. ET. This coverage will also re-air on Monday, November 4, from 10:00 a.m.

The marathon can be streamed on mobile devices via the ABC App in New York and the ESPN App nationwide. These apps are available for download on the App Store and Google Play, accessible through participating TV providers.

Radio broadcast

For the first time, iHeartRadio’s 710 WOR AM and 104.3HD2 in New York will broadcast the race live, starting at 7:00 a.m. Eastern Time. Listeners can also tune in via the iHeartRadio app from 8:00 a.m.
