F1 qualifying results: what is the Australian GP starting grid?

Pole for Max Verstappen in Albert Park ahead of a great Sainz and his teammate, Pérez. Alonso will start tenth in the race.

Carlos Sainz, who is back after surgery for appendicitis, joins Max Verstappen on the front row with Sergio Perez starting Sunday’s race from third. Verstappen is the first Formula 1 driver ever to set an average speed at Albert Park of over 250 km/h. Fernando Alonso starts from 10th, one place ahead of Lewis Hamilton.
