After a week of hiatus, Formula 1 returns to action and travels to the other side of the world for the United States GP, which takes place this weekend at the Austin circuit.
It will be the nineteenth stop this season, which has already known its new world champion since the last Japanese GP, where Max Verstappen was crowned two-time world champion.

Race for second place
Even though the driver’s title has been handed out, Formula 1 has great incentives in the remainder of the course. With four more races to close the year, the runner-up position is still at stake. Separated by one point, Checo Pérez and Charles Leclerc are the great contenders for second place in the general classification.
For the time being, the Red Bull man’s car has the advantage over the Monegasque’s Ferrari, which is also fighting to return to the path of victory. So far this season, the energy drink brand has won 14 of the 18 races held.

Twelve of these went to Verstappen, who is one victory away from equaling the record of Michael Schumacher and Sebastian Vettel of thirteen races won in the same year. With his performance so far this year, the current champion has everything in his favor to overtake them.
