Iraq vs Venezuela live online: score, stats, goals & updates | International friendly World Cup 2026 warm up
Follow all the World Cup warmup action as it happens as Iraq host Venezuela today, Tuesday June 9, at SeatGeek Stadium near Chicago.

Iraq go into their final 2026 World Cup warmup game fresh off a confidence-boosting 1-1 draw against Spain on Thursday. Coached by Australian Graham Arnold, the Iraqis are short on household names but certainly won’t be lacking heart as they head into their first World Cup in 40 years. They have, however, been drawn into an incredibly tough group alongside France, Senegal, and Norway. Iraq’s first game of the tournament will see them face Norway in Boston on June 16.
Venezuela, meanwhile, will have a watching brief at the World Cup after failing to qualify. Oswaldo Vizcarrondo’s team, who have never played in the tournament, finished eighth in South American qualifying and missed out on an inter-confederation playoff by two points. Venezuela play their second and final game in the United States this summer after losing 2-1 to Türkiye in Miami on Friday.
