This Thursday the group stage of the UEFA Champions League 2022/23 will be drawn (and, as you’ve come to expect, we’ll be bringing you it live right here at AS USA). The best teams in Europe to have qualified meet in another edition of the top club competition on the planet and there is massive expectation to see in which group each team is placed.
The Champions League draw simulator
With so many combinations based on country rules etc, it can be a little hard for some to create more than a basic set of examples. But with the names of the teams in each of the four pots now confirmed, this simulator provides you with the chance to get a flavor of what’s to come.
The 32 teams are divided into four pots of eight teams each. The champions of the main federations, as well as the champion of the 2021/22 Europa League are in pot 1, while the rest are divided into the other pots based on their coefficient.
