The 2023 MLS season will see unprecedented change, after the announcement of the league’s alliance with Apple a few months ago for the broadcasting of all the matches of the season through the Apple TV+ service. It all gets going on February 25 with the opening fixture, and more details of this new coverage have now been revealed.

What’s included in the MLS Season Pass?

The MLS Season Pass will include each and every one of the regular season games, in addition to the Playoff games and the Leagues Cup, although some elements will only be available in North American territory.

Through a statement, MLS announced on Wednesday that each of the broadcasts will be in high definition, as they will be recorded with 1080p cameras, in addition to having Dolby audio to give viewers an improved experience.

In this new stage of the MLS through Apple, there will be more than 80 announcers and expert analysts to broadcast the matches in English, Spanish and French, to ensure as many fans as possible get to follow what happens in the league as it continues its growth.

Special MLS programs

MLS present two programs in which the analysis will be carried out before and after each game. These programs are called ‘MLS Countdown’ and ‘MLS Wrap-Up’.

MLS Countdown will present the preview of the matches with an analysis of the latest news of the teams, while MLS Wrap-Up will be a program in which summaries of the actions of each day will be covered. Presenters Tony Cherchi and Stefano Fusaro, will be accompanied by Diego Valeri, Melissa Ortiz and Chelsea Cabarcas.
