Since his arrival at Inter Miami, Lionel Messi has become the man of the moment in Florida. However, contrary to what many might believe, his life off the pitch is characterised as rather simple.

In an interview with comedian Migue Granados from Olga TV, the Argentine superstar opened up about various aspects of his professional and private life, including his family and how he goes about his daily routine.

Messi’s daily routine: this is the world champion’s life

According to the footballer himself, his day starts every morning at 7:00 a.m. He prepares breakfast for his three children, Thiago, Mateo and Ciro, before taking them to school.

Afterward, he heads to training. Messi revealed that he prefers to train early to avoid the heat. Around 1:00 p.m., Messi is back home with his wife, Antonela Roccuzzo, with whom he shares lunchtime.

After lunch, Leo and Antonela usually enjoy some alone time, either “taking a nap” or watching movies and series. At 3:00 p.m., they have to leave the house to pick up the kids from school and take them to their soccer practice, as all of them are part of the school’s football team.

Are Messi and Antonela looking to expand their family?

In line with this topic, Messi spoke about his fatherhood and the possibility of having a fourth child with Antonela in the future.

“A baby again?” Granados asked Messi, to which the footballer responded without hesitation, “Yes, I would like that. We’re not actively looking, but I would like it. Let’s see if a girl comes along.”

Currently, Messi and Antonela’s family consists of three young children: Thiago, who is 10 years old; Mateo, who is 7; and Ciro, who is 5.
