Arsenal away voted ‘worst jersey of 2023′
Despite stiff competition from the likes of Man United, Atlanta United and Albion Rovers, the Gunners secure the worst shirt of 2023 award.
Despite pushing Manchester City all the way in the 2022-23 Premier League race, Arsenal eventually ended the campaign empty handed and will hope that lightning doesn’t strike twice as they currently top the table with a one point lead over Liverpool in second place.
One title that has done the way of the North London outfit this year is that of ‘worst kit of 2023′ as voted for by readers of the Footy Headlines website, a portal that specialises in new kit and boot leaks.
The Gunners luminous yellow and black zebra-style pattern is a jersey with zero subtlety and contrasted with the plaudits the North London side received for their elegant 2023-24 home jersey.
Despite stiff competition from Atlanta United’s 404 effort, the sponsor filled jersey from Austrian side Hartberg and the Albion Rovers x Subway jersey, Arsenal edged the voting with all four jerseys coming through an initial preliminary round that featured horror shows such as Man United (away), Angers (third) or the garish LASK (home).
