Barcelona want to sell Ansu Fati

Fati is not interested in the Premier League offer on the table.

No sales at FC Barcelona this summer will mean no summer signings. Executives at the club know that three major sales are needed to obtain sufficient space for new players to come in. And one of the big names that could leave is Ansu Fati.

The player already knows, through his agent, that Barcelona are not counting on him for next season. It is also true that the offer presented to him by his agent, the option of playing for English club Wolves, does not satisfy the Spain international.

Gundogan talk

But the summer transfer window is only opening and there is still a long way to go to find a win-win solution, however, his departure would enable Ilkay Gundogan and Vitor Roque to be brought in.

In any case, Fati, who has a contract until 2027, has the final say. If he is not convinced by Xavi’s argument about a lack of game time, then a transfer would become more difficult.

What is clear is that the club wants to sell players as soon as possible in order to have some room for manoeuvre when it comes to signings. At the moment, all incoming operations are at a standstill as they wait for the sales to be formalised.
