Bellingham and Camavinga up against Gavi and Pedri for the Kopa Trophy
Courtois is among the candidates for the Yashin Trophy where Dibu Martínez is the favorite for the award along with Bono and Ederson.
L’Équipe announced the 10 finalists for this year’s Kopa Award which promises to be a battle between Real Madrid and Barcelona. Jude Bellingham and Eduardo Camavinga are the two Real Madrid players included in the final list. Barcelona meanwhile have three representatives: Gavi, Pedri and Alejandro Balde. The first two Barça players already know what it means to win the award, picking it up it in the 2022 and 2021 editions, respectively.

There have been four previous editions of the Trophée Kopa - and four winners: Kylian Mbappé (PSG), Matthijs de Ligt (Ajax), Pedri and Gavi (both Barcelona).
The rest of the candidates for this year’s award are: Jamal Musiala (Bayern Munich), Xavi Simons (PSV/Leipzig), Rasmus Højlund (Atalanta/Manchester United), Antonio Silva (Benfica) and Elye Wahi (Montpellier/Lens).
Courtois up for the Yashin Trophy
Real Madrid goalkeeper, Thibaut Courtois, aspires to repeat his victory in the last edition of the Yashin Trophy, although the Belgian is not the favorite this time. The two big favorites are Aston Villa keeper and World Cup winner with Argentina, Dibu Martínez and Morocco international and former Sevilla shot stopper, Yassine Bounou.
