Everything just continues to fall into place for Jude Bellingham, whose dream start to life in Madrid went up a couple of levels on Saturday. Once again he was the architect and protagonist of yet another Real Madrid victory - this time, scoring a stoppage-time winner against arch rivals Barcelona, away from home, to crown his first Clásico. After the game, he looked back on an evening to remember in Montjuïc in the flash zone with Real Madrid TV.

Late winner: “Another comeback. I love them. It’s hard on the heart, but they’re fun games. We gave it our all, we didn’t give up and I’m very happy.”

How did you feel when you saw your first goal go in? “I got the ball on the edge of the box. I’ve been saying for a few weeks that I need to try from outside. Maybe the opponents expect me to try to get into the box or combine with a team-mate and I wanted to surprise them by hitting it from outside the box. I know I have the technique and it went into the top corner”.

Personal tally stands at 13 goals - double figures in LaLiga... What’s going on!? “TI wasn’t at my best. Sometimes it’s not about trying to do something special every time you have the ball, but to combine with those up top. I fulfilled that task well, but as soon as I got the ball there I knew I was going to score.”

You scored on your debut and now a brace in your first Clásico... “Right now everything is going well for me. I’m preparing well for the games, I’m starting well and learning from my team-mates and coaches. I just want to improve and help the team to win. Thanks to my qualities I can help and I want to continue to do so.”

What is El Clásico like from the inside? “I just spoke to my family, but with the noise it was difficult to hear them well. I told them I was excited before the game. I had watched many Clásicos from the sofa with my family and I told them that today it was my turn to live it firsthand and do something great. I’ve done that and I’m very happy.”

Thank you Jude congratulations and as you say, goodnight my friend! “(In Spanish). Goodnight my friend. [Buenas noches amigo. HALA MADRID!]”
