Chelsea are pushing hard to sign young Brazilian forward Endrick. According to The Times, the Premier League club will make an official bid for the Palmeiras teenager. The player and his family have travelled to Chelsea’s training ground, where he was introduced by compatriot and Chelsea defender Thiago Silva.

The report states that Chelsea are confident of signing the talented youngster, and find themselves in the race along with Real Madrid and PSG. “A significant financial package will be required to sign the striker, but Endrick’s parents have been keen to clear a path and an environment for the striker to thrive in,” the English outlet claims.

The Blues are hoping that their offer can tempt Brazil’s new sensation toward Stamford Bridge. The player’s father Douglas is part of the decision-making process alongside agents working with Madrid forward Vinícius Júnior.

Chelsea’s new owners have been building a specialist recruitment team over the past few months, with the appointment of Joe Shield and the addition of Christopher Vivell and Paul Winstanley to the club. Endrick can sign for a new club in early 2023 before moving the following year after his 18th birthday.
