Christian Pulisic scores in Milan’s victory over Frosinone

Pulisic made it 2-0 to the Rossoneri, scoring his fifth goal of the season, and he is now only behind Olivier Giroud, who has seven.

AC Milan hosted Frosinone at San Siro in Serie A on Saturday in a match they won 3-1 with goals from Luka Jovic, Christian Pulisic and Fikayo Tomori.

Milan are in third place in the table with 29 points from 14 games, including 9 wins, 2 draws and 3 defeats. Juventus (33 points) and Inter (32 points) are currently ahead of Stefano Pioli’s side.

Jovic was responsible for opening the scoring in the 43rd minute with a fine left-footed volley. Pulisic’s goal came in the 50th minute after a clearance from goalkeeper Mike Maignan that ended up becoming an assist. Pulisic received the clearance, controlling it superbly and scoring with an exquisite right-footed finish.

Pulisic doubles lead

Pulisic’s sublime individual effort made it 2-0 to the Rossoneri, scoring his fifth goal of the season with Milan, and he is now only behind Olivier Giroud, who has seven for the Italian club.

Tomori was on hand to score the home side’s third and final goal of the contest in the 74th minute when he finished off Jovic’s assist.
