Since arriving at Chelsea in 2019, Christian Pulisic has struggled for consistency, and with the World Cup six months away, he could be forced to leave Stamford Bridge. The United States international is set to meet with head coach Thomas Tuchel regarding his future at the club for the next campaign.

Pulisic deleted Chelsea references from his Instagram

Earlier this month, Pulisic’s father, Mark, used his Twitter account to say that his son was not happy over the lack of minutes this season. Now it is the United States international that has sparked rumors about him leaving during the summer transfer window because he deleted ‘Chelsea FC’ from his bio on Instagram.

Also, the 23-year-old used to have a picture of him with a Chelsea kit but he changed it on Instagram as well. It is no secret that Pulisic has struggled with injuries since arriving at Stamford Bridge and that is a big reason why he has lacked playing time. But manager Tuchel has praised Pulisic’s ability to bounce back stronger every time.

“Christian [Pulisic] was in the same situation as Kai [Havertz],” the German coach said. “Both of them took the responsibility for the turnaround, so it is their responsibility, and they deserve the credit. They did amazingly and you can see it on the pitch.”

The USMNT ace only played one-third of the Premier League games last season for a total of 22 appearances. Pulisic scored six goals and provided two assists as Chelsea was able to secure a spot in the next UEFA Champions League tournament.
