The Uruguayan looks dangerous each time he is on the ball but has been too quiet in the contest so far.

CA-Pumas ...a sellout
There will not be a free seat in the house for América vs Pumas after Las Águilas announced that the tickets for the match have sold out. Through their social networks, the team thanked their fans for their support, who went out of their way to sell out the tickets and guarantee a full stadium at the Azteca on Saturday night.
“Águilas! Thanks to your unconditional support, the tickets for the game against Pumas are sold out. #SomosAmérica”, the team posted.
Pumas
Pumas have struggled massively in the Clausura 2023 and are in danger of missing out on the playoffs for the second straight Liga MX tournament. However they come into this derby game on a good run of recent form.
After a run of just two wins in their first 12 games, Los Universitarios sacked head coach Rafael Puente del Río in March, replacing him with three-time Mexican title winner Antonio Mohamed.
In his first game in charge Mohamed led Pumas to a 3-1 win over Atlético San Luis and followed that up by beating third-place Toluca by the same scoreline. Pumas are now up to 12th with those wins, just within the play-off places, and will want to continue their promising run against América on Saturday.
Club America
Bidding to lift their first Liga MX title since the Apertura 2018, Las Águilas have lost just once in the current tournament - and have bounced back with four wins out of five since that 3-0 defeat to Pachuca in early March. In their last outing they swept aside Cruz Azul in another Mexico City derby, beating them 3-1 away from home.
This weekend they face Pumas in the Clásico Capitolino and Fernando Ortiz can call upon one of the finest attacking talents in Liga MX. Henry Martin has scored 13 times in 15 appearances in this year’s Clausura, with three goals and two assists in his last four games.
Final Liga MX regular season games for CA and Pumas:
Club America (A) to Juarez
Pumas (A) to Rayados
Pumas have been better under new coach Mohamed and currently hold the 12th place which would see the university side secure a place in the post season. A win would guarantee a place in the repechaje and any other result would leave their fate to be decided on the final matchday next weekend.
America currently sit in second place in the Liga MX Clausura table and would mathematically seal a second place finish with a win tonight over Pumas.
The action in CDMX gets underway at 11:10 pm ET/8:10 pm PT at the iconic Estadio Azteca.
