The former Real Madrid man was named CONCACAF Men’s Goalkeeper of the Year for three years straight from 2016 to 2018 and without doubt will be essential to Costa Rica’s hopes on Thursday. Quite frankly, Los Ticos are coming off a solid performance against Japan in which they only allowed three shots on goal. With their destiny in their own hands at this point, they will not be under the kind of pressure that their opponents are surely feeling. Don’t be surprised if we get a shock in this one.
