Crazy offer to reunited Mourinho with Cristiano at Al-Nassr
Al-Nassr have the Portuguese coach in mind to replace Rudi García. They are offering 100 million euros on a two-season deal that would see him reunited with Cristiano Ronaldo.
The turmoil at Al-Nassr, Cristiano’s team, following Sunday’s 0-0 draw with Al-Feiha will cost coach Rudi García his job. The result leaves the team three points behind leaders Al-Ittihad in the table with eight games to go. On top of that, Rudi García is not to Cristiano’s liking and that has definitely sentenced him.
Al-Nassr have eight games left to play between now and the end of May, and plans are underway to bring in José Mourinho. As AS has learned, the club has placed a highly-lucractive offer on the table for the current Roma coach - 100 million for two seasons. If he accepts, he would become the highest paid coach in the world.
However, the biggest drawback facing Al-Nassr at the moment is that Mourinho is in the final stretch of the season with Roma and has key objectives to fulfill - including ensuring the team qualifies for next season’s Champions League. Roma are also in the quarter finals of the Europa League and have ambitions to go all the way and win it. Mou has already said that his idea is to continue at the Olimpico.
Saudi Arabia’s commitment to attracting some of football’s big names continues. Cristiano Ronaldo was the first star signing while Messi has an offer on the table from Al Hilal which is believed to be around 400 million euros. The Saudis are willing to spend big to lure Mourinho - we will have to see if he accepts and is reunited with Cristiano.
