Cristiano Ronaldo’s son Mateo causes a surprise in a Barça kit
Georgina Rodríguez has published some images of Mateo, son of the Real Madrid legend appears wearing the full kit of FC Barcelona.
Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the great legends of Real Madrid. The Portuguese superstar arrived in the Spanish capital on 6 July 2009 where he stayed for nine seasons, winning two Spanish Super Cups, two Copas del Rey, two LaLigas, two UEFA Super Cups, three Club World Cups and four Champions Leagues. A total of 438 games played and 451 goals scored. But those achievements, and legendary status secured, don’t necessarily drive the behaviours of family members, as his son Mateo demonstrates.
Ronaldo’s Madrid history matters less to some
The latest images published by Georgina Rodríguez on her Instagram account, where she has more than forty-nine million followers, give us the insight. Cristiano’s partner shared a Story where Alana Martina, Eva and Mateo are seen doing a choreographed dance on one of the sofas in the family home. So far nothing out of the usual.
What is truly surprising to many viewers, though, is that the youngest of the footballer’s sons is wearing the full kit of Real Madrid’s eternal rival: FC Barcelona.
Ronaldo’s son loves football
What is clear is that Mateo, like his father and brother Cristiano Jr, is a true football fan. Whenever he can, the little boy dresses in kits of some of the most successful clubs in the world.
Last summer, for example, the youngster opted for the white colours of Madrid to enjoy Rosalía’s concert at the Wizink Center in the city. There he sang and danced in the company of Georgina and her brothers. Another of his essential outfits is the Portugal team shirt.
