United’s position hasn’t changed however. They do not wanting to sell the Portuguese star and add that the conversations held have not changed the player’s stance on staying at Old Trafford, but while he is there he will continue to work professionally.
Weekend friendlies against Spanish clubs
On his return, Cristiano underwent the relevant medical examinations and trained before watching his team mates’ friendly behind closed doors against Wrexham. It is expected that he will not play in Saturday’s friendly against Atlético Madrid in Oslo, but he could be handed minutes in the next game - at home to Rayo Vallecano the following day.
