England and Brazil continue their preparations for UEFA Euro 2024 and the 2024 Copa América by facing off in a high-profile international friendly at Wembley Stadium in London. The experienced Dorival Júnior, who has managed a number of top Brazilian clubs including Palmeiras, Santos and Flamengo, takes charge of the South American team for the first time.

Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane, England’s all-time top goalscorer and captain, will play no part for Gareth Southgate’s side because of an ankle problem.

England - Brazil prediction

Brazil have been on a dreadful run of form by their standards (three defeats in a row) and will be desperate to bring it to an end, even in a friendly. With Kane likely to be absent and a new manager keen to impress, we can see it being a tight encounter. Prediction: England 1-1 Brazil
