FIFA set to release additional Women’s World Cup tickets
Fans anxious to attend a game at the 2023 Australia/New Zealand World Cup in person now have another chance to purchase match tickets.
FIFA have confirmed that another ticket window will open on Tuesday, 6 June ahead of the 2023 Women’s World Cup which gets underway in Australia/New Zealand on 20 July.
The new opportunity will be the last chance for fans to join the existing 650,000 ticket holders and witness at close quarters, the biggest ever Women’s World Cup as 32 teams participate for the first time ever.
Tickets will be made available on a ‘first-come, first-served’ basis with fans anxious to secure match tickets requested to set up an account via the FIFA ticketing portal.
Less than 50 days to go
“We are delighted that supporters in Australia, New Zealand and across the globe will have more opportunities to purchase tickets for all 64 matches at this year’s FIFA Women’s World Cup, which is now just 48 days from kick-off”, stated FIFA Chief Women’s Football Officer, Sarai Bareman.
“Fans from over 150 different countries of residence have purchased tickets for the tournament, so we can’t wait to see the football world unite in Australia and New Zealand next month,” she added.
