Quique Sanchez Flores’ side are still very much looking over their shoulders as they hover just above the relegation zone. A 2-0 loss away in San Sebastian to Real Sociedad in matchday 28 put an end to a brief impressive run where the Azulones recorded two wins and two draws to keep their hopes of top flight survival intact. The game against Barcelona comes ahead of three key games as they face fellow strugglers in a trio of contests that will go someway in deciding the outcome to their season as they face Mallorca, Almeria and Espanyol.

The Catalan giants are odds on to secure their 27th LaLiga title as they continue to dominate at the top of the table. Elimination in the Copa del Rey semi-final will only serve to sharpen their appetite for their second silverware of the season after claiming the Spanish Super Cup in Riyadh last January.
They come to this game after a dissapointing game between Girona that ended with a 0-0. Proving their elimination in the Copa Del Rey had an effect on spirts.
Getafe-Barça prediction:
Despite recording a draw and win over FC Barcelona in their past two meetings in the suburbs of the capital, the Catalan side will be driven by the desire to be crowned LaLiga champions as soon as possible and will have too much for Quique Sanchez Flores’ men.
