MLS 2024 is here! Rejoice! Football is back - well, it never really went away, but now the ball is set to roll once again in the US. To start the season off, we’ve got Inter Miami taking on Real Salt Lake at the newly-named Chase Stadium in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on Wednesday 21 February (KO 8pm ET / 5pm PT), which you can follow live on AS USA.

Inter Miami have a huge season ahead of them, and their players have made it clear that trophies are the objective for the side that finished below the playoff line in 2023. They did win Leagues Cup, their first ever trophy, but as a club the trophy cabinet could certainly do with some TLC.

How much are the cheapest tickets to see Inter Miami?

Fans have flocked in their thousands to the ground and season tickets for the upcoming campaign sold out before Christmas of last year, but that is not to say that watching Messi and his teammates fight in Fort Lauderdale will be impossible. General sale tickets are always available, as are resale tickets, and prices vary heavily depending on the seat you choose.

AS USA did some digging on Ticketmaster, the official sales partner, and found that under 24 hours ahead of kick-off against Real Salt Lake, that the cheapest ticket prices for the MLS 2024 opener against Real Salt Lake were in fact $130. These seats were in the Northeast Grandstand, a temporary block of seats added to corner the stadium after demand surged due to the arrival of Leo Messi last year.

The next best priced section of the stadium is in the North and South stands, where tickets range from $140 - $160. After that come the seats closest to the corners of the lateral stands, which quickly shoot upwards of $300, all the way to around $1,000.

There are tickets, if one dares to look, priced all the way up to $1,200, which are located right next to the field. For your money, as well as a privileged position next to the action, you also receive “complimentary food and drink”. How kind. Tickets for games further along in the season are already for sale, and the prices are around the same, with a few dollars difference here and there. Watching Inter Miami this season may be a once-in-a-lifetime experience, but you’ll probably find me on a boat in the Everglades looking for snapping turtles.
