Barcelona’s financial report will be explained in depth at a members meeting on 9 October. The report reveals the club’s current financial situation, highlighting the debt owed to other teams for signings made in recent seasons.

The Catalan club still has to pay €144m to different clubs. Barça are also expecting approximately €128m in revenue from the sale of players.

The most striking amount outstanding is that of Ferran Torres, for who Barça still have to pay €52m over the next few seasons. The signing of Ferran was closed for €55m plus add-ons, meaning this amount could increase.

Ajax waiting on Barça

In the Netherlands, Barça still have to pay a total of €46m to Ajax, €36m for Frenkie de Jong and €10m for Sergiño Dest, two players who were very close to leaving the club over the summer. In the end, it was Dest who left Xavi’s squad to go on loan to AC Milan.

Barça still owe Juventus €36m for Miralem Pjanic, who joined the club in a swap deal for Arthur. The Blaugrana have to pay Liverpool €14m for Philippe Coutinho, signed in 2019 and currently owned by Aston Villa, who in turn still have to pay €10m of the €20m it cost them to sign the Brazilian. Wolves also have to pay a loan fee of around €6m for Francisco Trincão.
