Hugo Lloris poised for LAFC move
Talks involving the French goalkeeper and the MLS side have reportedly reached an advanced stage.
After more than 350 games sporting the Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper jersey, everything points to the 37-year-old Hugo Lloris swapping North London for Los Angeles.
Talks between the stopper and MLS side are reportedly at an advanced stage as the Black & Gold look to bolster their squad with the new MLS season set to get underway at the end of February (2024).
The Frenchman’s current club Tottenham Hotspur already gave the green light and the decision is now up to the 37-year-old French star, Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reported Thursday.
Lloris has been with the Premier League’s Spurs since 2012 after playing for Lyon (2008-12) and Nice (2005-08) in France’s Ligue 1.
The keeper has played 145 times for the national side and helped France secure the 2018 World Cup in Russia and finish runner-up to Argentina at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
