Inter Miami complete the signing of Facundo Farías
The Argentine player will occupy one of the foreign places that Inter Miami has and will join the squad in the coming days.
Inter Miami continue to sign players for Tata Martino’s squad. On Saturday, the Fort Lauderdale club announced their latest addition to the team for the second half of the season.
Argentine player Facundo Farías has arrived from Colón, signing with the MLS side for the next four years, although there is the option of extending his deal with the club until the 2028 season.
Although the transfer figures were not disclosed, it is reported that the transfer of Farías to Inter Miami was closed for a fee in the region of $5.5 million, plus another $2 million in variables.
Through a statement, Inter Miami announced that Farías will occupy an international position, which was recently speculated to be Luis Suárez, however, after it was announced that the Uruguayan would continue until the end of the season with Gremio, that idea is over, for now.
Farías excited to link up with Messi
Farías says he is excited about this new stage in his career where he knows he will play alongside top players, including Jordi Alba, Sergio Busquets, and of course Lionel Messi.
“I am very satisfied with this transfer. Inter Miami is a club with incredible ambition and I am excited to be part of the project together with great players, coaches and members of the staff,” explained the 20-year-old.
