Inter Miami have announced that defender Harvey Neville has joined USL Championship side Loudoun United FC on loan for the remainder of the 2023 season.

Neville, son of former Inter Miami boss Phil Neville, joined the club in August 2022 and made his MLS debut two months later, when he came on as a second-half substitute against CF Montréal.

In the 2023 regular season, the 21-year-old Manchester-born player went on to make 11 appearances, nine coming off the bench, as well as playing twice in the US Open Cup.

Versatile defender

“We are very excited to welcome Harvey [Neville] to the Loudoun family,” Ryan Martin, Loudoun United FC head coach, said. “He is a very talented and versatile defender that can get forward and add to the attack with his service. He is very competitive and will be a big part in our playoff push.”

Contract at Inter Miami

Neville, who came through the underage systems at Manchester United and Valencia, has a contract at Inter Miami until 31 December 2024.
