Italy vs England: how to watch on TV, stream online in US/UK and around the world
The penultimate UEFA Nations League A (Group 3) game takes place at Milan’s iconic San Siro stadium on Friday night.
The San Siro will host a repeat of the Euro 2020 final as Roberto Mancini’s Italy face England on Friday night in the penultimate game of the group.
However, the Three Lions go into the game on the back of a poor Nations League campaign in 2022, having failed to win any of their four games in June.
A 1-0 defeat in Hungary was followed by a draw in Germany thanks to a late Harry Kane penalty, before a dull 0-0 at Molineux against Italy and an abysmal performance in their 4-0 defeat to Hungary at the same venue.
Italy drew with Germany and England either side of beating Hungary in their first three Group A3 matches, before going down 5-2 in the reverse fixture with Germany last time out.
The reigning European champions are third, two points off leaders Germany and three points ahead of England in the relegation spot. “Anything can happen in this group,” Mancini said. “It wasn’t pleasant losing 5-2 in the last game, but even then I saw some positive signs”.
England must avoid defeat in Milan or face relegation to League B of the competition which makes Friday’s clash even more appetising with all the ingredients are in place for a enthralling UEFA Nations League contest at San Siro where the action will kick off at 2:45 p.m. EDT/ 11:45 a.m PDT on Friday, 23 September 2022 for viewers in the United States, or 7:45 p.m (BST) in the UK.
