Lamine: The “kid” who keeps shattering records in LaLiga
At just 18 years old, he has already won three league titles with Barcelona - a feat no other player has achieved at his age.

Lamine Yamal just keeps rewriting LaLiga history. This time, the young Barcelona star watched from the sidelines due to injury as Barça clinched another domestic title — but his impact on the season is undeniable. The Rocafonda native delivered 16 goals and 11 assists and recently reached another astonishing milestone: 100 league appearances - and he’s still only a teenager.
Throughout this season, he’s stacked up several personal lamdmarks as well, including his first hat trick in Spain’s top flight — in the Week 26 4–1 win over Villarreal — and becoming the youngest player ever to score in back‑to‑back Champions League matches.
A new record for the youngest player to win three league titles
Yamal already had two league winners’ medals (2022–2023 and 2024–2025), and after Barça sealed LaLiga triumph number 29 on Sunday night, he becomes the youngest player in LaLiga history to win three league titles. Until now, that record belonged to another former Barça prodigy, Bojan Krkic, who achieved the feat aged 20.
With this latest title, Yamal surpasses club legends like Ronaldinho, who won two league championships (2004–2005 and 2005–2006), and Neymar (2014–2015 and 2015–2016). He also moves past global icons such as Zinedine Zidane (2002–2003) and David Beckham (2006–2007), each of whom lifted just one LaLiga trophy.
More LaLiga records in Yamal’s growing collection
This isn’t the only milestone he owns in Spain’s top division. Yamal is also:
- The youngest goalscorer in LaLiga (vs. Granada, 2023)
- The youngest starter in league history (vs. Cádiz, 2023)
- The youngest assist provider of the 21st century (vs. Villarreal, 2023)
- The youngest player to score a brace (vs. Granada, 2024)
- The youngest player ever to appear in El Clásico (2023)
At just 18, Lamine Yamal is already building a résumé that rivals some of the sport’s greatest names — and he’s only getting started.
