Former soccer player Freddy Rincón, who played for Real Madrid and Colombia, remains in a critical condition after the car he was travelling in collided with a bus in the Colombian city of Cali.
Rincón undergoes surgery
The player underwent surgery for severe head injuries and in an updated medical report from the hospital where he is being treated confirmed Rincón underwent surgery for two hours and five minutes and has now been transferred to the intensive care unit.
Laureano Quintero, head of the clinic where Rincón is being treated, said the former player’s condition was extremely critical, and that the outcome cannot be predicted at this time.
