Lionel Messi and Luis Suárez named in Inter Miami roster for El Salvador friendly
Twenty Inter Miami players will travel to El Salvador to face La Selecta in Cuscatlán on Friday.
Inter Miami are preparing to travel to El Salvador, where on Friday they will open their preseason schedule against La Selecta, a team coached by Spanish tactician David Dóniga.
Amidst speculation and uncertainty in Central America about the possible visit of Lionel Messi and the stars of Inter Miami to El Salvador, the Fort Lauderdale club have revealed the list of players who will make the trip on Wednesday.
Suárez travels with Inter Miami
The 20-man roster will be led by the Argentine captain, with the likes of Luis Suárez, Jordi Alba and Sergio Busquets also making the trip to El Salvador to face La Selecta.
With Messi’s presence confirmed, it is expected that the Estadio Cuscatlán will be packed to capacity on Friday to welcome the world champion, who is aiming to get some game time under his belt in 2024.
