City, who are second in the Premier League table, five points behind leaders Arsenal, have won the Carabao Cup on eight occasions, with six of the wins coming since 2014. No club has won the competition more often than Liverpool, who won it last season for their ninth title. They current lie in sixth place in the league after 14 games.
