Another year to run on his contract

According to TUDN’s Alonso Cabral, Rayados are looking to sign Idrissi for the Apertura 2024. The Monterrey board has been impressed with the 28-year-old’s quality, which is why they would be willing to pay $8 million for his services. Idrissi is under contract with Pachuca until 30 June 2025 and the Hidalgo team will surely not let him go so easily.

The Moroccan player is thriving in his second campaign in Mexico. In the current Clausura 2024 he is the leader in assists along with César Huerta with a total of seven - goals he has created for others in 1018 minutes on the field of play. As for scoring them himself, he is currently on three - all scored in consecutive games against Tijuana, León and Monterrey. Idrissi has become an immovable asset for coach Guillermo Almada in a tournament where, based on young players, he has put Pachuca back in contention for the Liguilla. Currently, the Tuzos are in fifth position with 25 points - just one points behind Cruz Azul in the direct qualification places. Next week they host Chivas in a key game in the fight to be among the top positions.
