Not Cristiano Ronaldo or Neymar, Casemiro’s most complete players he’s played with
Casemiro’s run at Manchester United is coming to and end once the season finalizes, but before he goes club legend Rio Ferdinand brought him on his podcast.

Brazilian midfielder and soon to be free agent, Casemiro, is in his final days as a Manchester United player. He will be saying farewell to the club at the end of the season, but before he leaves he had a chat with a club legend while taking a “swipe” at another former teammate and Red Devil legend.
Bale over Ronaldo?
Casemiro stopped by for a chat with the former Man U captain on his Youtube show, Rio Ferdinand Presents, and dropped a few headlines as he prepares to hit the exit ramp at Old Trafford. When Ferdinand asked Casemiro who the most complete player he had ever played with was, the Brazilian raised more than a few eyebrows.
The Manchester United anchor said that when it comes to doing everything a player is required across the board, it’s his former Welsh teammate that takes the cake as the most complete player. “Cristiano scores, Cristiano has 15 goals. Minimum 15 goals. But Bale attacks, defends, heads, scores, fouls.”
Casemiro joined the first team at Real Madrid in 2015 when Ronaldo and Bale were already well established stars in the Spanish capital. Ronaldo left in 2018, but Bale stayed until 2022 which was the same year that Casemiro left for Manchester United. He described both Ronaldo as being “the best” but as a do it all midfielder, “Case” tipped his cap to the more all around player.
Closing door on Old Trafford
“Cristiano is the best. Cristiano is the best. Cristiano is another one. Cristiano gives the... Take Cristiano off the conversation. But for me, Bale is the best, more complete. Because he attacks, he defends, he scores the head, foul. Everything, he does very good, very quick. Too strong. And for me, Bale is an unbelievable player. Unbelievable player,” stated the former Real Madrid man.
Casemiro left Los Blancos after winning just about everything you could win with the Spanish giants. He won three La Liga titles, a Copa del Rey, and five Champions Leagues. Four of those came with Ronaldo and five came with Bale. After the 2022 Champions League title Casemiro went on to new challenges at the Theater of Dreams while Bale moved to Los Angeles FC.
Do you know how good you have to be to have an entire fanbase beg you to stay, when the same fanbase said you were coming to OT for a retirment package.

Titles at Manchester United have been a bit harder to come by. Despite the team struggled, the supporters at Old Trafford have been begging Casemiro to stay over the last few months. They knowing that his contract is up after the final game of the season and would love to see him stick around for one more year. He has been essential to the club’s turnaround since Michael Carrick took over in January. Casemiro’s experience and leadership is a big part of why United will be playing in the Champions League next year.
