One arrested, five hospitalized after brawl at high school soccer game

A 24-year-old Virginia man was arrested after tossing several people down concrete bleachers and sparking an all-out brawl at a high school soccer game.

Update:

Donald Guerrant, a 24-year-old man from Virginia, has been arrested after starting a fight at a high school soccer game. During a game between Union and Ridgeview High Schoosl on Monday night, Guerrant was shown on video shoving a group of people, causing them to tumble down the concrete bleachers at Appalachia’s Riggs Stadium.

Guerrant then jumped down to the bottom of the stands and started punching at two other men. He and another man, in the middle of a scuffle, eventually fell off the bleachers, but continued fighting on the ground. In the video, you can hear several screams of horror as people watch the events unfold. Some of the players even attempted to come in and help, but the incident was not settled until finally a Wise County Sheriff’s deputy intervened.

First responders came to the scene and five people had to be taken to the hospital after suffering injuries in the brawl. Guerrant was arrested and will face charges of assault and battery.
