Juventus are set to sign France international Paul Pogba for the second time.

The player’s lawyers had met with the Bianconeri before Juve’s last home game of the 2021/22 season.

The France international has decided to join Juve despite being offered a better financial package by Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reports that Pogba has also turned down Manchester City.

The last few details of the transfer have now been finalised and Pogba will be announced as a new Juventus player in July.

Four-year deal at Juventus

The 29-year-old will sign a four-year contract with Juve, on a deal worth €8 million plus bonuses per season.

The Turin outfit have always been confident of their move for their former player, despite the interest from PSG and Premier League champions City.

Great relationship with Allegri

The World Cup winner’s first spell at Juventus from 2012 to 2016 was a successful one.

“Talking about Pogba and anything else right now makes no sense,” Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri said in March.

“He’s a Manchester United player. I don’t know what he’s going to do next year. I’ve got a great relationship with him, a really good one. He used to get a bit angry because he kept losing (to me) at basketball and football. However, there’s no sense talking about the transfer market right now.”

Pogba’s second spell at Manchester United has been a failure, and with supporters happy to see him go, a new managerial appointment was not enough to keep him in Manchester.

In 20 Premier League appearances for the Old Trafford outfit last season, Pogba scored one goal.
