Possible Pachuca lineup vs Toluca in the second leg of the Liga MX final
The first leg of the 2022 Apertura final saw a rather convincing performance from Los Tuzos. So what can we expect next?
Pachuca and Toluca will meet on Sunday to bring the Apertura 2022 tournament to a close, and with 90 minutes of regulation time to go, most people are expecting Los Tuzos’ heroics from the first leg to be consummated.
If not, we will witness one of the most impressive comebacks in the history of Mexican football, or world football, and the two managers, Guillermo Almada and Ignacio Ambriz, have to get their selections right.
As the old saying goes, ‘don’t fix what ain’t broken’, and there’s a good chance that Almada will repeat exactly the same line up that thrashed Toluca 5-1 in the first leg.
