The move came together in roughly 24 hours. On Sunday, PSG reached out to Digne, and once he learned the reigning two‑time European champion wanted him, he didn’t hesitate. The two already know each other well from their time together at Barcelona, a connection that helped smooth the deal.
A return to Paris
Digne is returning to familiar ground. He spent three seasons with PSG from 2013 to 2016 — including a loan stint at Roma — back when he was still developing as a player. The version arriving now is far more seasoned: a Europa League champion and a key figure for Unai Emery at Aston Villa.

The official announcement is expected right after the World Cup wraps up.
