Japan coach Hajime Moriyasu named his 26-man squad for Qatar 2022 on November 14, the deadline day when all lists had to be submitted to FIFA. The majority of his squad are based at clubs in the four major European leagues with eight players currently plying their trade in the Bundesliga.
