Real Madrid will decide if Endrick is to go to the Paris Olympics with Brazil
The club are yet to make a decision on whether the youngster will go to Paris for the Olympics or take part in pre-season preparations.
After a brief vacation period following his second Brasileirão win, Endrick (17) is back in his boots and already training with the Brazil U-23 National Team.
He is gearing up for the Pre-Olympic qualifiers for the Paris Olympic Games next summer, a commitment that will cause him to miss the start of the new season with Palmeiras. Despite this, a very eventful summer lies ahead for the young star.
Brazil’s initial challenge is the Copa América, scheduled from June 20 to July 14. Internal sources within the Brazilian Federation (CBF) suggest that the future Real Madrid forward stands a good chance of participating in this important tournament.
This optimism comes as a result of his record-breaking debut at just 17 years of age against Colombia and Argentina during the last FIFA window. Nevertheless, as per sources who spoke to AS, the final decision rests with the new coach, Dorival Júnior.

Will Endrick go to the Olympics?
The subsequent challenge for Endrick arises at the Olympic Games. The soccer events in Paris are set to begin on July 24 and conclude on August 9, coinciding with the entire preseason schedule of Real Madrid. Additionally, it almost overlaps with the start of the LaLiga season, which is expected to be around August 17.
According to AS, Endrick will be at Real Madrid’s disposal for the Olympic Games. The player will turn 18 on July 21, and from that date onward, his signing with the Spanish will come into effect. As such, Real Madrid will be the deciding authority on whether to allow him to participate in the Paris event or not. This comes as good news for Ancelotti, as the young Brazilian eagerly anticipates his time with Los Blancos.
He plans to prioritise pre-season alongside his new teammates, aiming to contribute to the project from the very beginning. Regardless, the final decision on Endrick’s participation in the Games lies with Real Madrid. The player, known for his discipline, will not exert pressure on the club to attend the Olympic Games.

Back to action. The Pre-Olympic tournament, granting access to the Paris event and in which Endrick will participate, is scheduled to take place in Venezuela starting from January 20. Brazil will make their debut on January 23 against Bolivia, part of Group A alongside Venezuela, Colombia, and Ecuador.
The top two teams from each group will advance to a final round-robin tournament, where the two best teams will secure a place in Paris. Brazil currently holds the title of the reigning two-time Olympic champion.
Endrick is, of course, the major attraction, yet the young star remains humble. “There’s no hierarchy here regarding who’s the greatest. Everyone holds the same expectations and enjoys equal status within the team.”
“As I always say, I like to be a reference within the team. Since my time in the Palmeiras youth academy, starting from under-11s, it’s something I appreciate—to have an active voice, to be a character. However, here, no one is considered better than anyone else,” he stated in remarks to the official CBF media.
