Rodrygo a major doubt for El Clásico
The Brazilian striker was substituted in the 85th minute of Real Madrid’s Champions League win over Borussia Dortmund at the Bernabeu.
Tuesday’s Champions League clash at the Santiago Bernabeu against Dortmund delivered another chapter in the ‘incredible comeback’ section as the LaLiga giants trailed 0-2 at the interval.
A second half whirlwind saw the Bundesliga side swept away as goals from Rudiger, Lucas Vazquez and a hat-trick from Vinicius Jr. enabled ‘Los Blancos’ to bounce back to the delight of a packed stadium.
The only blot on the copybook on an epic night came towards the end of the game as Brazilian Rodrygo Goes was unable to finish the match after feeling a pain in his right hamstring and will undergo several tests on Thursday to determine the exact extent of the injury. Tchouaméni replaced the winger as the game drew to a close and according to sources at the club, the attacker will undergo a first examination on Wednesday but the MRI will not be carried out until Thursday.
Rodrygo left the pitch in the 85th minute of the matchday three Champions League clash against Dortmund and if early fears are confirmed, the Brazilian could miss The Clásico against Barcelona next Saturday.
