The ex-soccer player has made a fleeting appearance in the ‘Where She Goes’ video showing his ball skills on the beach.

In the early hours of Friday morning, Bad Bunny unveiled his latest song to the world, titled “Where She Goes,” and within just one hour, it had already amassed over one million views on YouTube. Accompanying the song is a music video featuring several recognizable faces, including American singer Frank Ocean and former soccer player Ronaldinho Gaúcho.

Despite only appearing on-screen for a brief three seconds, the legendary FC Barcelona star, captivates viewers as he effortlessly controls the ball on an idyllic beach, something he has treated fans to all his career, along with that big smile.

This release marks Bad Bunny’s first song after headlining the previous edition of the Coachella Festival and confirming his relationship with Kendall Jenner in the media. As expected, the song has sparked an outpouring of messages praising Bad Bunny and his consistently successful releases, which always become global sensations. Comments on YouTube overflowed with phrases like “yet another anthem,” “you’re the best of all time,” and “Bad Bunny always chooses the perfect moment to drop a new song.”

Spanish lyrics for English title

Benito has delivered a massive surprise by releasing the music video for “Where She Goes” despite announcing his temporary retirement at the end of 2022 and dedicating the entirety of 2023 to himself. However, the surprises do not end there.

Despite the English title, Bad Bunny has kept his promise of singing in Spanish, contrary to rumors suggesting he would debut with a song entirely in the language of Shakespeare, albeit a more modern take! Moreover, the Puerto Rican artist has ventured away from the genres that propelled him to stardom and embraced Jersey club influences. According to the record company, he skillfully fuses Jersey club with subtle elements of dembow, resulting in a captivating rhythm.

In a recent interview, Bad Bunny revealed that he received the melody of the song eight or nine months ago. However, he decided to save it until a few weeks ago when he began listening to it and started to craft the lyrics. Impressed by how it sounded, he proceeded to record it and ultimately chose to release it because of the immense enjoyment he derived from the process. This reflects Bad Bunny’s aspiration for the future -- to create music simply because he loves doing it.
