Wrexham’s season has become the standout football story across Europe. Actors Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney promised the entire squad of the historic Welsh club that if they were promoted to League Two they would be rewarded with a party - and that moment has arrived: Wrexham’s “Most Monster Party” is about to begin. The players are heading to Las Vegas to celebrate their promotion and the 111 points record.

Wrexham won promotion to England's League Two with a record 111 points.

Reynolds wants Bale to play for Wrexham

Wrexham fans are growing across the world and in the United States in particular, where the fame of the actors has put the club on the map. The newest item in the headlines is that Reynolds’ latest idea of convincing Gareth Bale to come out of retirement and put his boots on for the 2023-2024 campaign. The return of Bale would not the first time Reynolds and McElhenney have managed to turn heads, as they signed veteran goalkeeper Ben Foster to play the last eight games in the National League season. It seems that right now, everything they touch turns into gold.

Wrexham’s Las Vegas party

The latest move from the team is to start the party to celebrate promotion: the four-day Las Vegas party will be fully funded by owners Reynolds and McElhenney. “They told us to leave our credit cards at home and they have given us an itinerary of everything we will do”, some of the staff have explained on social media. The big party is expected in Las Vegas and the achievement from the team means they fully deserve it. We will wait to see if Welcome to Wrexham season 2 shows us just what goes on.
