Sixteen Liga MX Femenil players set to represent Mexico at 2023 Pan American Games
Mexico will play in Group A and are pitted against Jamaica, Paraguay and host nation Chile.
The 2023 Pan American Games are set to commence in Santiago de Chile and will run through to 5 November.
Liga MX Femenil will contribute 16 of the 18 players that will represent El Tri in Chile the group augmented by two players from the NWSL in Maria Sanchez and Diana Ordoñez from Houston Dash.
Both Tigres and America will have the highest of representation with four players in the Mexico squad.
This will be Mexico’s seventh participation at a Pan American Games and coach Pedro Lopez will be hoping to improve on the bronze medal secured last time out at the 2019 Lima games.
